This week, my almost-brother Nicholas Hatch weds his delightful fiancee Falon Papp. I could not be happier for them, at all! What a beautiful, amazing couple. They deserve nothing but the best. My best friend Kaitlyn and her fiancee Megan, to be wed later this year, go with them. They left this morning to Mexico, Playa Del Carmen, to soak up the sun and have some fun!
Kait left an envelope for me to open after they'd left, and my curiosity got the best of me already. I opened the envelope, and contained inside were:
1) a lovely little fairy sticker
2) a pack of Handz Off anti-masturbatory gum ... greeeeat
3) little clear marble that read 'You','Me', and 'Us'
4) a note letting me know what the deal with their house was for the week
5) a wonderful letter
The letter basically eplained to me how she feels about having me in her life. I now know that my decision to bail on an afternoon of work to see her was one of the best decisions I've ever made regarding my professional AND personal lives. I did right by my friend, someone who means a lot to me, and who I mean a lot to as well.

The highlights of the past two weeks:
a. getting a new job - positive
b. getting my learner's license - positive
c. seeing Krystal a lot - positive
d. smashing up my heel - negative
e. dropping a twenty pound lamp on my head - negative
f. crushing my hand with a 125 pound medicine cabinet - negative
g. being hit by a Cadillac Escalade - super negative

. wake at 6:45 and get ready for job interview
. 8:30 am, second interview at Sharper Cards
. 8:55 am, job with Sharper Cards secured. Production assistant!
. 9:15 am, coffee at Starbucks. Devin is a barista and spoils me rotten. you're the best, bud.
. 10:00 - 11:30 am, play the Sims and generally dick around on the computer
. 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm, accompany my father to get his hair cut and to visit the Registry
. 1:14 pm, secure Class 7 Learner's License
. 2:08 pm, write this entry
I might even do some laundry.

Weekly update:
- SNOWSNOWSNOWSNOW. It snowed this evening. vair slippery.
- I have a job interview with Sharper Cards on Friday morning. I'm really hoping it goes well. I'm growing VERy tired of pottery barn, no matter how many of the people there I really enjoy.
- I'm fuckin sick. I couldn't talk today!
- I chopped off all my hair! It went from sitting about four inches below my shoulders to my hairline in the rear. I still have my sidesweepy bangs and a bit of length in the front. I'm rather fond of it, and it would appear that many of my coworkers are as well. I can't get people to stop commenting on it.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm so tired!

Call me a total fool, but I cannot figure out how to change the colour of the outlining and backgrounds for my layout. Whoops. It hurts to have to admit ignorance sometimes.
Mara, even though I've changed my layout, I did sincerely enjoy the last one! I just needed to change it up! Thank you thank you thank you for all the work you put into it!
I know I say this every single time I update, but I rarely update. I will do my UTMOST to change this behaviour and update more frequently.
This past weekend has been amazing. Lovelovelove.

TIME for an update!
I am still alive. Amazing. I am seeing a wonderful girl named krystal. She's a punk rocker, she is. prety fuckin fantastic if I do say so.
I am working at Pottery Barn again. Boo! I need to find a job that I like more. I liek the people so much, but the job bites. As it stands right now though, I can't afford to go searching. In time, in time. Maybe I'll go work at the Body Shop!
I'm listening to a lot of jazz and 80s alt rock and pop, like the smiths, the cure, joy division, alllll sorts of things. Lovely lovely.
Winter is swiftly approaching, though today was beautiful. I spent a majority of the day on the crest of a hill overlooking the river and Fish Creek park. Astounding view. The sky was cloudless, the river shone like sheet metal, blinding all who gazed at it. The trees are all aflame with autumn's touch, and the ground rustles and crunches underfoot.
I can't wait for winter now! Even IF I get mad depression. As long as I have my backup, we're all good.

Yo. I've been working a lot. Pottery Barn is one weird place, I'll tell you that.
I'm in love with Manhunt contestants, especially the winner from China, Jeffrey Zheng. <3
On Friday night, I went out with Tiff, Vanessa, and tiff's art school friends for Tiff's 19th birthday party! We hit up the HiFi, and holy shit was it fun. TIFF WAS SO DRUNK OMG. Anyway, I was out pretty late. 1:30 or so, and I had to work at 8. Jeez was that fun.
I woke up and felt awful for about an hour. After that, I was fine! Work was sweet too. Good day. Very busy. Went to Kait's house in the evening after some sweet Indian food, watched Tourettes guy and played video games. Discussed the importance of realizing your relative maturity level only counts for so much when relating to other people. The hippy fell asleep on the couch and talked in his sleep. Creepy. Watched South park new episode when I got home, it was DUMB! So dumb.
Daylight Savings! Clocks went an hour ahead last night. Cool. That means I slept until 3 today instead of until 2. Hahaha!
